October 24th Visit of ADG Geoff Goodyear

At the Rotary. lunch meeting on October 24, the guest speaker was Geoff Goodyear, Assistant District Governor for the Central -Western-Labrador Region of Newfoundland and Labrador of Rotary District 7815. Geoff belongs to the Exploits Valley Club, but as ADG, he is visiting Rotary clubs in Western Newfoundland, that include the Rotary Clubs of Stephenville and  Corner Brook .The main theme of Jeff’s talk was the importance of individual clubs feeling that they are a part of a larger entity that of the Rotary family. He spoke about resources available to local clubs including recruitment and retention of members which is often a concern for clubs.
