Last summer in July, the Rotary Club of Corner Brook Club sold boxes of tulip bulbs to family and friends.  All the money raised selling tulip bulbs by Rotary clubs in District 7620 was donated to the Rotary End Polio Now Fund
On the day before World Polio Day, October 24, 2020 donated tulip bulbs were planted around the site of the new Corner Brook sign on the lawn, West Street. This project helped to eradicate polio throughout the world and will beautify the city in the spring when the tulips bloom. Most people who had bought tulip bulbs from Rotarians, planted their bulbs outdoors in the fall but some planted their bulbs in doors for early blooming.  The photo attached is a beautiful photo of an indoor planting of the tulips bought from Rotary.
The outdoor bulbs as they bloom will bring pleasure but these blooming tulip now  bring hope and joy.
