The Rotary Club of Corner Brook was pleased to welcome Chris Hornberger, District 7815 Governor 2026–27 to the lunch meeting on July 16 at the Glynmill Inn. Chris is a member of the Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour and while in Newfoundland she visited Rotary Clubs in Central and Western Newfoundland.
Chris was able to chat with Rotarians before lunch and later in the meeting spoke to Rotarians using a short PowerPoint presentation as a base for her talk. She began her talk by giving the Rotary message for this year that had been introduced by Rotary International President Olayinka Babalola
Create Lasting Impact
She continued by discussing the topics in the power point which were - Rotary International Priorities, The Year Ahead in D7815, District Priorities, Meet the District team and a 2026 – 2027 Calendar. It was most interesting to hear what she had to say. Chris answered several questions before being thanked by Olaf. Chris with everyone’s good wishes left Corner Brook heading out to a Rotary BBQ in Grand Falls.
