In June, Corner Brook Regional High School student Jenna Boardman was awarded the 2022 Corner Brook Rotary Scholarship. 18-year-old Jenna is in her first term at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University. She is passionate about Health and Fitness, along with the importance of Mental Health. This is part of the reason she is enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Psychology. She has been passionate about psychology for a long time, and the importance of good mental health. Mental health issues have risen she noted, over the past few years. In the future Jenna plans on being someone who is there for those who are struggling, and whom people can come to and trust with any issues they may have.
